Hi, I moved up from Melbourne for work and family a few months ago and have now decided to stay on secondment until at least April but may end up staying longer or for good depending on how it goes! I used to live in BrisVegas in the early 90s & still have a few old friends here who have moved back too. Before 3 years in Melbourne, I was living overseas in the UK/France/the Pacific and travelling.
I previously worked in international development AID in the Pacific but following an attack of sensibility or career crisis depending on how you view it, I am now a full-time professional and am studying part-time. I go away for work occasionally.
I like dinners out, the occasional big night out, films, cooking, surfing, gym, theatre, photography, BBQs, love animals & pets, going away weekends...a mix really outside work and study... Not fussed really - love Queenslanders and yards and verandas but no big deal....just a clean and friendly home with or without pets...and housemates who are relaxed and not obsessed TV addicts. Ideally, I was hoping to find a house or flat with easy-going people who are around the same-ish age.
