Medium sized duplex 2 bedroom home located in a quite neighbourhood close to amenities. 10 minutes walk to the train station and bus stop. Walking distance to the medical centre plus fairly close to the Hospital. A couple of minutes drive to the shops and 24 hour fuel station. Lounge room with carpeted floor furnished with a Sofa, LCD TV that receives free to air channel, DVD player, ceiling fan and Split system air-conditioning. Kitchen is equiped with a fridge, microwave oven, cooking gas stove and oven, electric kettle and toaster. Front loader washing machine and dryer in the laundry room. Bathroom and toilet are separate. Parking available for one car. Wireless broadband internet available.

I have two rooms available 1 x single and 1 x double although not sure if will let both rooms out. Both rooms are furnished but could be unfurnished if required.
Home is large, have games room with a pool table, family room kitchen, eating area and TV area, formal area dining and lounge and large garden. No garage but enough parking for 4-5 cars.

I am from the UK and have lived here for 8 years and recently seperated from long term partner. Before I married I always shared my home with other people without any issues, so guess that makes me a good house mate.
The house is not a party house although close friends may be round for dinner from time to time. Odd party held from time to time but generally for a special occassion.
I am a clean and tidy person and would expect anyone I shared with to pick up and clean after themselves. I can and do cook and happy to share cooking sometimes.
Currently work from home, so prefer home to be quiet and relaxed. I am a mortgage broker and tend to do appointments in the evening. As a rule I go out to clients homes.

Must be clean and tidy your room is your own business so that can be messy as long as clean and dont collect dirty plates cups etc.... under the bed to go mouldy
Need to be working or studying prefer 30 but would consider younger. Open to people being round the house or staying over from time to time. Would like you to treat the house as your home but that you are respectful of the needs of everyone else in the house

A flat in a quiet, secure complex with a pool - great for summer! The place is pretty much furnished, this includes the room on offer, although I'm sure we could work something out if you've got your own stuff. Views of the CBD and balconys that are sweet as for enjoying a lazy beverage in the afternoon. . Power bills are extra and it's BYO internet, but again I'm sure we could work something out if you wanted to split costs. Public transport is 5 minutes away to buses or the train. Walking distance into the Vic Park cafe strip and bars. I'm currently in my last semester at uni, and plan to either continue study next year or get a job - still undecided. I currently work 3 nights a week and usually play sport on the other nights, ie; not home much. Not a party animal, just enjoy a few quiet ones with mates occasionally and some good music, if I am out for a big one I'll play away from home and enjoy the peace and quiet of the apartment to recover. Very much not into the 'scene' though. You are: a chilled out person who likes a laugh. You're able to keep the common areas tidy but not about to burst into tears at a bit of mess. Just someone who can respect the relaxed vibe of the place and understands that the footy show is more important than grey's anatomy.
