Nice, recently reno 2 BR ground floor flat. Cosy 2 story block of 12. Cute leafy communal courtyard at the entrance to the block. Polished floors in the living space, carpet in the bedrooms. Large new kitchen with gas stove. Shared bathroom also newly renovated
Room about 3mx3m. Not large, but has built in robe, and did have a double bed, bedside, tall boy & desk by previous tenant.
Place is fully furnished but bedroom is not.
Tram routes 64 & 5 every 5min to the city, 50m from block.
Rent includes all bills - phone calls extra. Foxtel isnt connected, but happy to if wanted.
I'm 39, single, easygoing, and been in Melbourne for 5 years, from Sydney.
I work in banking in the city, and do a standard 9-6 M-F.
I play squash some evenings and weekends, and gym a few times a week.
I enjoy a few beers or wines after a tough day and sometimes after a not so tough day!
I also enjoy hitting the gay bars occasionally, every couple of weeks.
Weeknights, I am generally home, but do get out a few nights for dinners, movies, etc with friends.
I have a small marine aquarium, but no furry creatures roaming around. I love dogs, but cannot have them here.
I like to keep the place very neat and tidy. The odd plate on the sink, but I'm generally very clean.
Mostly, the place is peaceful. I occasionally have friends over for a drink or movie or chat etc, but not in numbers, as the place isn't that big! That said, I haven't had any parties there... YET! My idea flatmate would be also neat & tidy, considerate, and relaxed.
I would prefer no shift work, and a non smoker is a must.
Working, or if a student, a regular adequate income.
Cleaning should be shared, and does not need to be set to times, if it needs it, clean it.
I dont mind sharing some food, and cooking/enjoying occasional shared meals. Happy to keep seperate too if wanted.
Casual partners - no problem. In a rel'ship? - occasional stayovers are OK, but I don't want two flatmates!
