About me
Small 3 bed house has large.ish living area, decent size kitchen, small back yard and enclosed front yard. garage suitable for small car. The house is close to the Tuggeranong lake, 5 minutes to Tuggeranong town centre you could cycle that.
5 minutes to Erindale, 5 minutes to Mawson, 8 mins to Woden, walking distance to the service station. 3 minutes to Wanniassa shops. you can catch the 60, 61, 62 buses and if you want to do bike'n ride you can catch any 300 buses I have lived in Canberra for 10 years so I am pretty much a local. I am 31. I moved to Canberra from South America and my mother language is Spanish. I like to go out probably once or twice during the month. I work with computers. Some times I only get home to sleep because of work, friends and the gym so I like to spend at home when ever I can.
I try to keep the house as neat as I can possibly can but this doesnt mean I am a need freak.
I do have a busy social life but I dont tend to bring friends home every often. Ideally you would be relatively quiet, clean, like cats, independent, mature, reliable, must have references and a reliable job.
You would have a positive approach to life.
I dont mind if you are in a relationship but remember I am looking for ONE house mate NOT TWO.
If you speak Dutch, German or Norsk its a plus since I am interested in learning these languages. I can teach you Spanish in return.

About us
We have been in a monogamous relationship since 2002 and are both employed full time. We arrived from Brisbane late 2007. We are very relaxed and like being around new people our previous flatties have become great friends so this is indicative of the type of flattie we are seeking. Whilst we are not party animals, we do enjoy the occasional night out or having people over. Our interests include cooking, the arts, camping, 4-W-Driving, travelling and enjoying the company of friends over good food and fine wine. We are generally at home during the week and try to enjoy the outdoors over the weekend. We keep our home clean but are not anal about it if you get the picture. Mikey loves to cook, so you could probably expect a good meal each night. Centrally located in Kingston in a quiet complex with restaurants, cafes and bars within 1 block. Carpeted throughout, this sunny, freshly painted, 2-storey 3-bedroom apartment is larger then the usual apartments with Built in heating system upstairs and downstairs as well as air conditioning and a media room. All bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. You have your own loo which is separate to you own bathroom and your bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished. Additional costs would be shared to cover: weekly house clean, electricity, water usage, internet ADSL, phone part of internet plan and food. The flattie of our choice would be a guy gay or straight who has no issues living with a gay couple. Age is unimportant, as we have friends who are 19 65 and nationality is also unimportant. Whilst we would not be in your face 24/7 our flattie would socialise with us sometimes and would be keen in creating a friendship. Our flattie would be preferably be employed, although a student would also be welcome. If you offered to use the Jamie Oliver pots n pans in the kitchen and cook a meal for the house every now and then that would be fabulous too! -
