I'm traveling with my friend Jenna, we are both lesbian and are interested in cultural activities, reading, music, arts, sports and the environment. We have traveled all over Europe, Japan, SE Asia and are WWOOFING in Australia. We want to get to know Melbourne better so need a room for about a month. I have a degree in Fine Art Painting and focused on Feminism, Lesbian Art, Portraiture and the Female Nude, I've also done a lot of photography as part of my degree and I can play the guitar. We would like to be in a nice area with less of the alcoholic drug injecting freaks and more of the musical arty types. Any type of home with a room big enough for me and my companion. I would really like some space to create art too. We want to check out the Lesbian scene, so be good to be near there. We would like to stay with local people who know Melbourne and have similar interests to us. We are English and we are certainly not like most other backpackers ie. We are not McDonalds eating, dirty, binge drinkers who swear in every other sentence. We want to be around people we can have intelligent conversations with and be creative and maybe do some art together?
