I'm looking to find someone to share a place with, I'm from NZ have been living with a friend for 6 months and now settled needing to move into my own place. I am a quiet tidy person, not much into the scene but can still have a good time when the need calls for it. I like a laugh and good conversation so would be looking for someone who is wanting friendship, not just a person to live with. I have flatted most of my life so believe that I am adaptable and being that many of my old room mates are still good friends I think that sort of says it all. I have a job as a support worker and a social work degree. I spend some nights away from home with work and am seeing someone so would not always be around. I cook and clean try to keep social but at times need time at home to chill out so play a bit of x box and watch DVD's most of which I would do in my room...unless of course your into that too ;- I have owned my own homes in the past so am very responsible when it comes to bills etc and i would expect that from a room mate too. I like art and music, BBQ's and the beach, travelling and animals was a farmer before coming to Australia! I am looking for a safe secure home, preferably near the ocean between Broadbeach, mermaid, Miami or Burliegh. If I can see the ocean I will be more than happy but will consider a suburb close to these areas. If I can have my own bathroom that would be a bonus but not the end of everything. I would prefer to have a parking space off the road, as my car is my life....no car no work...so that is a sort of must for me. I would like to live with someone who is open and friendly, likes to chat and interact maybe even share meals with and watch movies together. But in saying that still have a life outside of the house. I'm not want party animals or major drug users! Smokers ok but only outside. Basically someone who is mature enough to know how to be considerate and respectful.

Hi......: I'm Savannah....Savvvy for short. I arrived on the Gold Coast Feb 2nd 08 and I'm loving every minute of it. Previously from Victoria, well you can't help back luck. I am currently staying with my sister and brother in law and their two kids in Southport. I'm now working and looking to move on and settle into a shared household with one or two fairly laid back souls. I get on with most people. I work in the health care industry, currently on a permanent part time basis while also picking up casual shifts and studying externally fulltime. I'm aiming for permanent fulltime within the next couple of months. I'm a busy person but never so busy that I can't make time to build and maintain quality relationships and enjoy myself. I'm single but looking and have no kids. I prefer share accommodation as I prefer being around others without living in each others pockets. Looking for a clean, comfortable happy home to share in an area that's not to far from work. I work on Hope Island so somewhere not to far would be cool. I will travel up to 40 k's per day, but will consider longer travel to be in the right houshold. I I love being around water so not to far from the beach, a canal or even a pool would be cool. I love animals, enjoy their company and I bond with them quickly, so I'm happy to help look after pets if need be. I'm into cooking and preparing food, enjoy a wine or two over dinner and after a hard day at work or study. I'm neat and tidy and clean but not a picky 'neat freak'. Home entertaining works for me but so does a quiet kick back.
