About me
G'day, I am an international student from the USA studying at Yeronga TAFE in cabinetmaking. I am a homebody and love gardening, writing, cooking, playing board games and spending as much time on the beach with a good book as I can. I live on limited budget so I need to make sure that rent doesn' t fluctuate or change. I have a limited work Visa and work casual jobs between my classes. I lived in Acacia Ridge for the first part of my studies but had to return to the USA for a family emergency and am now returning. I don't come home and have a beer as I seldom drink...though Bundaberg Rum has been served at game nights in the past....mmmm very nice! I don't do drugs or smoke and most of me mates do not either. I am part of a gay mens group in Brissy that meets for coffee. Other than that, not really into the scene.

About my ideal home
I am looking for a furnished room to share, nothing fancy needed at all. A bed, a dresser, and the OK to have a fan running at night. Of course, I can even deal with an air mattress but most people go tropo when they think their flatmate is sleeping on the floor...anyway, it doesn't bother me. Simple is fine. I really just need an affordable place to sleep, close to the city or Yeronga, on a train/bus line. A kitchen that I can cook in and a flatmate that doesn't mind a few friends over once a month or so for Board Games would be ideal!

About my ideal household
I anjoy an active household...i usually have a few friends over once a month to play board games and socialize. I usually cook for two so do not mind sharing the grocery bill as well as putting a plate in the icebox for you for dinner. I don't really have a need for much privacy. I'm more of an open door flatmate. I enjoy meeting people, entertaining...when home alone the radio is usuallly always on. Since money is an issue for me, for peace of mind I need to know that rent will not fluctuate.
