About me
Hi! My name's Phoebe and I'm moving to Melbourne for a new job and a new phase of life. I'll miss my two cats but my sister will take good care of them! I love movies, good food and conversation, hiking, swimming and travelling - so far I've been to western Europe and China, next up: South America! I like to balance quiet nights in with a variety of social activities, e.g. live music, dinner, dancing etc. I'm a tidy and reliable housemate, happy to share cooking/fun times when you feel like it and respect your space/privacy as well. I speak good French and Spanish, and survival Mandarin!
About my ideal home
It's just me and my suitcase flying into Melbourne, so I'll need a bed and preferably some hanging space for those pesky must-be-ironed work clothes! My ideal new home would be within walking distance of the CBD where I'll be working, and the neighbourhood should have its fair share of fun places to eat, drink, shop and be merry. A tram line or two would be handy as I won't have a car. I have LOTS of practice sharing a bathroom and always leave the kitchen tidy!
About my ideal household
I like my space but also crave company at times! Sharing meals and chats when our schedules permit, impromptu pyjama/DVD parties with wine/Maltesers, loungeroom ballgames, midnight bake-offs are all fine by me... but I may spend a couple of days at a time with my nose in a book every now and then. However messy my room gets I pitch in to keep common areas clean and tidy, pay bills on time and will always replace your milk if I pinch it! I'd most like to share with 1 or 2 others m/f in the 20-35yo age bracket who are sociable but not too rowdy.
